These Asian lettuce wraps are bursting with flavors from the marinade and a medley of crunchy vegetables, making them a delicious and healthy option for a light meal or appetizer.
Ingredients:
- 500g chicken breast, minced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1 carrot, grated
- 4 green onions, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup water chestnuts, chopped
- 1/4 cup peanuts, chopped
- Lettuce leaves, for wrapping
Instructions:
In a bowl, mix together soy sauce, hoisin sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil
Add minced garlic, grated ginger, and minced chicken to the marinade
Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes
Heat a pan over medium heat
Add marinated chicken mixture and cook until chicken is browned
Add diced bell pepper, grated carrot, sliced green onions, water chestnuts, and chopped peanuts
Stir and cook for another 5 minutes
Serve the chicken mixture in lettuce leaves, wrapping them like tacos
