Ingredients:
- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Pink food coloring gel
- White chocolate chips
- Mini marshmallows
- Pink sprinkles
- Black edible marker
Instructions:
Mix the butter and sugar in a big bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy
Add the egg and vanilla extract and mix them in well
Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a different bowl
Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients one at a time until dough forms
Split the dough in half, and use pink food coloring gel to color one half
Put both pieces of dough in the fridge for at least 30 minutes after wrapping them in plastic wrap
Warm your oven up to 350F 175C and put parchment paper on a baking sheet
Roll out a small piece of pink dough into a ball, then cut it into an oval shape to make the body of the rabbit
Flatten the pink oval a bit before putting it on the baking sheet
Cut off a smaller piece of plain dough and roll it into a ball
Then, shape it into a smaller oval for the eyes
Gently press the head onto the body so that it overlaps a bit
For the bunnys ears, put two white chocolate chips into the head
By cutting a mini marshmallow in half diagonally, you can make the tail
Place one half below the head
To make more bunny butt cookies, do the steps again
For 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are just beginning to turn golden, bake the cookies
Take them out of the oven and leave them on the baking sheet for a while to cool down
Move the cookies to a wire rack to cool all the way down
The bunnys face needs eyes and a mouth
Use a black edible marker to draw them on after the cookies are cool
For a cute touch, sprinkle pink sugar on the bunnys tail
For Easter and Spring, serve and enjoy these cute Bunny Butt Cookies
