Ingredients:
- 5 lbs pork shoulder, bone-in
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tbsp smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp ground black pepper
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup water
Instructions:
Warm the smoker up to 107F 225C
Take a small bowl and mix together black pepper, salt, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika
This will make a rub
Cover the pork shoulder with the spice mix by rubbing it all over
You should smoke the pork shoulder for 10 to 12 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 195F 90C and the meat is soft
Put the pork shoulder away from the fire and let it rest for 20 minutes after its done
Shred the pork shoulder into pulled pork with two forks
Apple cider vinegar and water should be mixed in a saucepan
Bring to a low boil
Pour the vinegar mix over the pulled pork and toss it around to cover it all
Enjoy while hot
